Lällekönig Tin with Pull-Out Mechanism
The Basel Lällekönig is one of the city's most famous landmarks. The figure was first mentioned in 1658: At the Great Basel Rhine Gate near the Middle Bridge, it stuck out its tongue at arrivals and rolled its eyes. "Lälli" means "tongue" in Basel German.
The lovingly designed tin was awarded the Swiss Packaging Award in 2020 and combines Basel history with enjoyable tradition.
