To mark its 270th anniversary, our company has decided to relaunch VOLRO©, which was developed in the 1920s. The VOLRO cracker – made from whole grain and rye meal – was developed in the 1920s as healthy food for children.

The then revolutionary recipe came from Dr. Dr. hc Adolf Roos (1888-1974) and Karl Jakob (1877-1941). Dr. Roos discovered the connection between nutrition and healthy teeth in old age. The original VOLRO advertising slogan was:

If you chew your bread well as a child, you will have strong teeth for old age.

Our relaunch in a fresh, hip look appeals to young and old alike – as a healthy snack or for an elegant aperitif – VOLRO CRACKS GOOD. TASTES GOOD. SINCE 1928. Our recommendation: Harmonizes with salmon & fish mousse
